Project Location:
The project is located along I-75 at Maple Avenue (S08 of 25031) Section 35, Town 07 North, Range 06 East, Flint Township and in Section 2, Town 6 North, Range 6 East, Mundy Township, Genesee County.
General Project Description:
This project involves design for structure approach reconstruction and partial deck replacement.
The mapping limits begin 300’ West of the Western Bridge Abutment Line and travel East along Maple Rd to the East Abutment Line of the structure.
Description of Structural Surveys Performed:
A. Control – Set intermediate control and benchmarks. Performed horizontal and vertical control observations and adjusted networks.
B. Alignment – Established non-legal alignments for Maple Avenue, I-75, and related stationing.
C. Mapping – Performed mapping throughout project limits. Conducted utility & drainage structure inventory. Compiled data & depicted drainage connectivity on drawing.
D. Bridge Structures – Collected Maple Avenue structure specific data and depicted information in elevation and in plan view sketches.
